Prior to becoming Clerk to the parish council Alison had spent over 20 years working in a number of Civil Service departments.
She became Clerk in April 2012 and commenced studying for her professional qualifications in that role. In September 2014 she achieved qualification; being awarded a Certificate in Local Council Administration.
In addition to her duties as the Parish Council Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer she also acts as the Parish Council’s Allotments Manager and Burial Ground Manager.
