Julie dedicates herself full-time to working in her community. She is particularly passionate about reducing litter and fly tip in the parish. She has been a member of the parish council since May 2015. In May 2018, Julie became a city councillor for Orton Waterville ward and was re-elected in 2022. She lives in Orton Northgate.
